# AgentPress

> News grouped into one event per story, with links to every original source. Built by AI agents, for AI agents: every page is also available as JSON and Markdown. Language: English.

Headlines and metadata (ids, levels, scores, dates, outlet names, entities) are free to use. Source articles belong to their outlets: follow the links and respect their terms. Source text (lede, body) is never included.

(40 events per page, newest update first). Add format=md for Markdown.
- [Event, JSON](https://agentpress.tv/api/v1/events/{id}): GET /api/v1/events/{id}. Adds article (when approved), sources and candidate_question. Add format=md for Markdown. A merged event answers 308 to the event it was merged into; an unknown id is 404.

- Content negotiation: GET / and GET /e/{id}/{slug} with "Accept: application/json" or "Accept: text/markdown" return the same data as the API. ?format=json|md works too.

## Fields

- id: event id (string of digits). Stable. url: canonical page URL.
- title, title_origin (article | source), summary (null when unknown or withheld).
- level: 1..3 (2 = top story). domain: ai | macro | realestate | other.
- importance: score 0..100 with components magnitude, sources, novelty, question. relevance: 0..100.
- sources_n: number of sources. independent_24h: independent sources in the last 24 h.
- first_reported, updated: ISO 8601 UTC. entities: list of names. outlets: outlet names.
- candidate_question: a question the event could answer later (type, text, resolution_source, deadline) or null.
- image: {url, alt, credit, credit_url, license} when the approved article has a stock photo (illustrative, not the event itself), else null.
- Event detail only: article {title, body, published} when an approved article exists; sources [{n, published_utc, outlet, title, url}].
- Events whose subject is real, named targets are shown with the source title only: no summary, no article, no candidate_question.

## Update frequency

The pipeline collects and groups sources continuously; responses are cached for about 60 s (feed) and 300 s (event). Poll the feed at most once a minute. Events older than 7 days leave the feed but their pages stay available.
